Students took part in the captioned competition organized by Ching Chung Hau Po Woon Secondary School and received encouraging results. These included securing an overall position of second runner-up, becoming champions of Loading Competition and Curling Competitions.

Students discovered ‘magic’ through experiments and learned from hands-on experience to nurture their scientific attitudes. They were bold, imaginative and developed creative approaches to learning.
General Studies
The General Studies department of our school has a rich curriculum which covers six major topics: Health and Living, People and Environment, Science and Technology in Everyday Life, Community and Citizenship, National Identity and Chinese Culture, and Global Understanding and the Information Era. Furthermore, the curriculum is filled with school-based features, e.g. Cross-curricular project learning, STEM experiment programs, Higher-order thinking program, Assessment on life skills, Self-learning booklet, gifted programs of whole-class and pull-out approaches, etc. By providing students with such programs, we hope that their generic, explorative and problem-solving skills can be improved and their interests in learning science and technology can be raised. We also hope that they will ultimately be able to acquire and construct knowledge independently.
